It's reported that Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel has commissioned German steel planer SMS Siemag to supply a new 2,250mm hot strip mill in Zhanjiang in the south of China.It's expected that the annual capacity of the new hot strip mill would reach 5.5 million tons and the mil will mainly produce hot strip with thickness of 1.2mm~25.4mm and width between 800mm and 2,100mm.Meanwhile, the hot strip mill is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2015.
